ATF ask for public’s help in search for armed robbery suspects

LAWRENCE, Ind. (WISH) – Investigators with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Lawrence Police Department have asked for the public’s help in locating suspects connected to a string of armed robberies.

According to officials with the ATF, two individuals are thought to be responsible for three different armed robberies of the Kemba Credit Union branch in the 5600 block of Sunnyside Road.

The two most recent robberies occurred in February 2016. They sought after suspects are also thought to be connected to a June 2015 robbery of the same location.

According to the Lawrence police, the suspects  covered themselves head to toe during the robberies, making identifying them difficult.
