No harm, but a little bit of fowl

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WKRN) – Why did the chicken cross the road?

That’s exactly what the Franklin Police Department were asking Tuesday.

The department tweeted around 5:15 p.m. that officers were trying to wrangle a chicken near the downtown area.

Thankfully, their efforts were successful when about 15 minutes later they tweeted that the chicken was in custody and the situation was secure.

The fowl was uninjured.

News 2 assumes detectives will be working around the cluck to find out where the rogue chicken came from.
