Feds to announce details of drug investigation

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – The United State’s Attorney’s Office will hold a news conference Tuesday at 1:00 pm to announce details of an investigation into a major multi-state cocaine distribution network.

Authorities will name six people who have been indicted related to an investigation that’s been going on for several months in the Fort Wayne area, Greenwood, Indiana as well as in Ohio and Texas according to an email notifying the media of the news conference.

The email also indicated that cocaine and cash have been seized.

The news conference will take place at Citizens Square in downtown Fort Wayne and 24-Hour News 8 sister station NewsChannel 15 will have a crew in attendance.
