Goodwill gets green light on Greenwood warehouse
GREENWOOD, Ind. (WISH) – Greenwood will be welcoming a new Goodwill warehouse and outlet shop off Emerson Avenue after the company received the city’s approval. The city council rejected the project about two months ago.
According to 24-Hour News 8’s partners at Daily Journal, Goodwill Industries of Central Indiana agreed to a list of eight conditions and received approval from the board of zoning appeals.The company will run a retail outlet store in a larger warehouse near Interstate 65. and they worked with the city and neighbors to address any concerns.

Greenwood City Council President David Hopper spoke against the project. He said their long-range plans for that area did not fit in with the 125,000-square-foot building.
The warehouse and outlet shop will be built in the middle of the Greenwood Springs business park.
