INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Two people were shot and one person has died on the city’s northeast side, police say.

According to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 3800 block of North Emerson Avenue just before 11 a.m. on reports of two people shot.

Police say one of the victims, 28-year-old Adrian Love Jr., was pronounced dead at the scene. The other victim was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

No suspect information has been released.
