Indiana EMTs heading to NYC to help with pandemic

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A group of local EMTs from Heartland Ambulance Service are on their way to New York City to help with the pandemic.

It’s a two to three-week deployment to take care of those in need.

Local company, High Maintenance Solutions, dropped off 55-gallon drums of viral sanitizer to help keep patients and employees healthy.

Lone Star Ambulance from San Antonio, Texas is joining Heartland in preparation for departure to New York City.

There are more than 38,000 cases of COVID-19 in New York City and local officials are begging for help from anyone who can get there.
