Active weather pattern through midweek
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The start of the new work week greeted us with a refreshing Monday. Rain chances are set to return Monday night and continue through midweek.
Monday night:
We are tracking the chance for spotty showers into the nighttime hours with increasing clouds. Lows only bottom out in the mid 50s for what will be a mild night.
Tuesday:
Spotty sprinkles are possible to start your Tuesday. Rain chances increase throughout the day with isolated showers and storms possible in the afternoon hours. Shower chances will continue through the evening hours with the chance for isolated strong storms in west central Indiana.
There is a Marginal Risk for severe weather in west central Indiana for isolated damaging wind gusts as the main threat.
Highs will climb into the low 70s.
Wednesday:
Keep the rain gear in handy as we are expecting a wet Wednesday with on and off rain throughout the day with isolated storms possible early. We are also expecting a cooler afternoon.
Highs will only top out in the low 60s.

We will continue rain and storm chances into Thursday while continuing our cooling trend. Friday will dry out and warm up for what will be a fantastic day. Wet weather is set to return for the weekend with high temperatures continuing to rise.
