Portion of Recovery Rye proceeds to help hospitality relief fund
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Despite Indiana moving to Stage 5 of its reopening plan this weekend, the hospitality industry here in the Hoosier state is struggling.
WIBC radio personality Tony Katz is trying to help those workers.
He helped create Recovery Rye, along with Corey Johnston, who is the owner of BLEND Bar with Davidoff Cigars, and Nolan Smith of Crossroad Vintners.
Recovery Rye is straight rye whiskey. For each bottle sold, $5 goes to the Indiana Restaurant and Lodging Association’s hospitality relief fund.
“We’ve had great success all across the state of Indiana, that’s where we’re sold, it’s an Indiana Grown product, it’s distilled in Indiana, it’s grown in Indiana and it’s benefitting Hoosiers,” said Katz. “Which is exactly what I think what we should be doing right now.”
Recovery Rye is available across the state at liquor stores and restaurants.
