Greenwood Police asking for help finding woman who disappeared 14 years ago
GREENWOOD, Ind. (WISH) – The Greenwood Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding Brookley Louks. Louks was last seen June 24, 2002.
Police said a week after her disappearance, her car was found at Highway 37 and State Road 144. This is where police said a neighbor picked up Joe Nowicki, who was “out of breath and frazzled.”
Nowicki’s home and garage were searched. Police found Louks blood on the floor, a desk, and on the ceiling. Nowicki said Louks cut her finger while working on an upholstery project.
When detectives asked Nowicki what happened to Louks he said, “Well detective, I think she met with an ill fate.”
