Ginger Zee of ‘Good Morning America’ to host red carpet at Indy 500
SPEEDWAY, Ind. (WISH) – Chief Meteorologist on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” is hosting the red carpet at the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500.
According to a release, Emmy Award-winning Ginger Zee will host the red carpet event prior to the race.
Zee is a graduate of Valparaiso University and was recently a contestant on the current season of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars.”
“As we prepare to host the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500, we want to celebrate this epic race in every way possible. Having ‘Good Morning America’s’ chief meteorologist Ginger Zee adds celebrity and even more fun to our red carpet. We hope Ginger will also bring good racing weather with her!” said Indianapolis Motor Speedway President J. Douglas Boles. “Ginger Zee will be introducing a terrific lineup during a lead-up to the green flag that you won’t want to miss.”
