‘Baseball in Education’ day to be held at Victory Field
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Victory Field is transforming into the largest classroom in central Indiana when “Baseball in Education” takes over the ballpark Wednesday morning.
During the game, staff members will provide students an in-game educational workbook to fill out, as answers are given throughout the course of the game.
The field trip engages students and helps them learn English, Math, Science and History.
In addition, parking and shuttle service will be available from Lucas Oil Stadium. The shuttle is free and parking is $5.
The Indians will play the Durham Bulls. The Indians have won two of the last three games.
The first pitch is set for 11:15 a.m.
