Zionsville attempted kidnapping victim identifies vehicle
ZIONSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) – The victim who was almost kidnapped earlier this week in Zionsville has identified a work vehicle that accurately represents the suspect’s.
She identified a work style van with a ladder on top. This will help police search for the correct kind of vehicle and hopefully will lead to the suspect.
It happened in broad daylight at the Domain at Bennett Farms apartment complex in Zionsville.
A woman took her trash to the dumpsters behind her apartment when a man in a white van pulled up around 11:30 a.m.
According to Zionsville police, a Hispanic man got out of the van, grabbed her from behind and placed a knife or box cutter to her neck.
He tried to drag her to the van, but she managed to escape and ran to the apartment front office for help.
Police arrived but the man had already fled.
