INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) — Indianapolis-based Selflessly is adding to its portfolio. The tech company, which has developed a corporate social responsibility platform for businesses and nonprofits, has acquired Kansas-based Employee Vitals, though financial details of the deal are not being disclosed.

Employee Vitals has developed a platform designed to help companies celebrate employees’ “social impact personality types.” The company says the platform helps boost internal culture and empower employee philanthropic engagement.

“Our goal has been to break down the barriers of strategic giving and give employees choice on how they want to create impact. With this momentum, the next step is to give our partners and their employees tools to really ‘own’ their impact and lean into how they can continue to contribute in an inclusive way,” said Selflessly Chief Executive Officer Josh Driver. “This acquisition integrates awesome tools from Employee Vitals to enhance our platform’s experience.”

Selflessly says the Employee Vitals platform aims to better connect employees to their company’s charitable giving and volunteer programs, while also positively reinforcing each individual employee’s choices in giving back.

The company says it will begin rolling out the Employee Vitals platform with its corporate partners later this month, with further integration taking place this summer.

The acquisition is not expected to have a negative effect on any jobs.
