Year-long investigation leads to prostitution arrests
NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WISH) – Police arrested two women for prostitution charges.
The investigation at Evergreen Spa in New Albany began a year ago.
According to state police, they received a tip that prostitution was being offered at the business.
Detectives went undercover at the business and officials say they were offered sexual favors in exchange for extra payment.
At the end of the investigation, the Floyd County Prosecutor’s Office issued two arrest warrants for two employees in the building.
61-year-old Mimi Kim Grech and 61-year-old Yang Sun Hall were arrested on various counts of prostitution.
They are in Floyd County Jail.
