Dick Wolfsie talks to dentist about impressive ancestry

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Each and every week, Dick Wolfsie shares a unique and interesting story with a connection to central Indiana.

This time, in honor of Black History Month, Dick Wolfise talks to Dr. Stephen Towns about his very impressive and accomplished ancestry.

Towns talks about his pioneering and notable grandfather and great great grandfather.

He even shows off a historically significant document showing that his great great grandfather who graduated from Dartmouth University medical school in 1854, several years before the Civil War.

Towns is also the grandson of the first African American admitted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
