INDIANAPOLIS (Inside INdiana Business) — Chicago-based Sikich LLP says it has reimagined its Indianapolis office as the professional services firm moves to more flexible work model. The company announced last year its employees could work remotely indefinitely and says the office redesign reflects that model.

Sikich says the redesigned Indy office features a variety of workspaces for employees, including desks and offices with play-and-play technology to coffee shop-style lounges. The company says employees can reserve workspaces online when they are not working from home.

The company is also opening a new office in Milwaukee next year with the same features.

“These offices are designed to support employees who may not be in the same workspace day in and day out but will need to use an office from time to time to collaborate, meet with clients and prospects, and build rapport with teammates,” Chris Geier, chief executive officer of Sikich, said in a news release. “Milwaukee and Indianapolis are priority growth markets for our organization and will drive forward the evolution of our workplaces.”

The company did not disclose its financial investment in the new offices.
