INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Another round of 80° temperatures to close out the weekend. Chance of storms returns on Monday.
Sunday:
Mostly sunny and very summer like, with temperatures more typical of August. Highs will be running about 15° above average, with numbers hitting the lower and middle 80s this afternoon.
Sunday night:
Mainly clear and very warm. Lows fall to the upper 60s
Monday:
Morning will be dry and sunny. Cold front moving in during the late afternoon and evening will spark showers and storms across much of the state.
There is a chance that storms within the line will be on the strong to severe side. Damaging winds and large hail will be the main threats. We can’t rule out a quick spin up of a tornado.
Highs on Monday reach the lower to middle 80s.

Temperatures will remain well above average for much of the week. Next system moves in Thursday and Friday, providing scattered showers to the area both days. Much cooler temps on tap for next weekend, with highs back to near normal levels into the 60s.
