Children’s Museum of Indianapolis opens annual haunted house for Halloween
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis is inviting families to the Frightful Frontier, the museum’s 57th annual haunted house.
Visitors can experience a train ride to Tombtown where the Frightful Frontier resides, but the Children’s Museum Guild says to beware of some scary tourist destinations along the way.
There are Lights-On Hours (for children who scare easily) at varying times Wednesday through Sunday and Frightening Hours (with the lights off, for children who dare to be scared) from 4-9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
Tickets to Frightful Frontier are $9 and are separate from general admission ticket. They can be purchased on the museum’s website.
The haunted house is one of a few festive events happening all month long including the Sports Spooktacular, Feast with the Witches and Halloween After Dark (for ages 21 and older) at the museum.
Guest are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes to the museum.
