Indy woman pleads guilty in unemployment fraud case

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – An Indianapolis woman has pleaded guilty to collecting unemployment benefits while she had a job.

Officials say 30-year-old Latrice S. Davis, Indianapolis, pleaded guilty to unemployment insurance fraud.

The Department of Workforce Development discovered the fraud while reviewing Davis’ records.

Davis was ordered to repay $16,256 in restitution. She was also sentenced to three years of probation.
