Father arrested in death of 6-month-old girl
JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) — A Johnson County family is mourning the loss of 6-month-old Felicity Anderson.
Her family said the baby suffered a skull fracture after her father threw her up against the wall because she wouldn’t stop crying.
The Franklin Police Department said the incident happened Thursday afternoon.
They arrested and charged the girl’s father, 20-year-old Christopher Potts, with battery resulting in death.
He is currently in the Johnson County Jail with bond set at $30,000.00.
Felicity’s grandmother, Danielle Anderson, said investigators told her Potts tried to give the child CPR and a bottle after throwing her against the wall.
“He couldn’t handle her crying during nap time. That’s why he hurt her,” said Felicity’s grandmother, Danielle Anderson.
Felicity’s mother, 18-year-old Annabelle Anderson, declined to comment.
