Colts head home from training camp ready to play

ANDERSON, Ind. (WISH) – Training camp is over, time for the Colts to put their hard work to the test.

The high-powered horseshoes face the frantic Eagles Sunday, a team that likes to run a play every 20 seconds. Chuck Pagano will probably play his starters in the opening quarter, but they hope to see the tone for the season and the young players.

“It’s important for us to play and show the young guys how it’s done,” said quarterback Andrew Luck. “We can get things going and then give them an opportunity.”

The Eagles new starting quarterback will have to wait another week to get his first game action. Sam Bradford will sit, still recovering from off-season knee surgery, meaning Mark Sanchez gets the call.

Eagles coach Chip Kelly days Matt Barkley and Tim Tebow will get the bulk of the snaps against the Colts. And it’s a homecoming for new Colts Todd Herremans and Trent Cole who spent a combined 20 years with the Eagle. Kickoff set for one o’clock Sunday.
