Indy woman arrested outside Bartholomew Co. gas station

BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – An Indianapolis woman was arrested early Wednesday morning after police say an officer found her passed out in a truck outside a Bartholomew County gas station.

Around 1:15 a.m., officers responded to the Circle K on US 31 and SR 7 and found a truck parked at the air pump station with its headlights on. Inside the truck was a woman slumped forward in the driver’s seat.

Police say an officer called to the woman several times before she woke up. The officer later found a jewelry box with drug paraphernalia, methamphetamine, pills and other drug related items inside.

The woman, identified as 33-year-old Jessica Parsons of Indianapolis, was arrested on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a schedule II controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia. She was booked into the Bartholomew County Jail on a $67,500 bond.
