Girls rescued from Bartholomew County creek

BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – Two girls were rescued from a creek in Bartholomew County Thursday evening.

It happened in the Clifty Creek around 7:30 p.m. Police and firefighters rescued the girls after they were swept into the creek by the current. Crews found them clinging to rocks.

Paramedics checked the girls at the scene and released them to their parents, 24-Hour News 8’s news partners at The Republic report.
