1 hospitalized after east side shooting
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – One person was taken to the hospital after a shooting on the east side of Indianapolis early Friday morning.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, it happened around 12:15 a.m. on East 21st Street near Ritter Avenue.
Police haven’t released any details about the shooting, including whether the victim was a man or woman, or the victim’s condition.
The victim was transported to IU Health Methodist Hospital after the shooting.
