Columbus Police looking for robbery suspect

COLUMBUS,Ind. (WISH) – A suspect in an armed robbery is being sought after by Columbus Police.

Just before 4:30 a.m. a Circle K convenience store in Columbus fell victim to an armed robbery.

According to police, an African American male showed the cashier a handgun, demanded money and then left left the premises with an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspect is believed to be 5’6″ tall,between the ages of 25 to 40, with a beard and a mustache.

Police also say the suspect left the scene in a 90’s model Chrysler minivan.
