Severe storm, flooding threats loom over Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Isolated strong to severe storms will be possible in northwest Indiana overnight.

The main threats with these storms will be damaging wind and hail.

Sunday’s severe threat will shift further south as a front arrives.

There’s a marginal risk for isolated severe storms to develop in Indianapolis, Lafayette, Muncie and Richmond.

A slight risk for severe storms will be in place for Shelbyvillle, Bloomington, Columbus and Bedford.

The primary threats will also be damaging wind and hail. Lightning and some heavy rain will accompany the stronger storms.

Flood warnings will continue for White River, East Fork White River, Wabash, Tippecanoe, Eel rivers through Sunday and into early next week. These rivers are currently experiencing minor to moderate flooding.
