Man identified after being shot and killed on front porch
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A man that was shot and killed on the front porch of his home on Thursday has been identified by police.
Jimmy Baxter, 20, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Just after midnight, officers were called to the 800 block of East 46th Street on the report of shots fired. When police arrived on scene, they found Baxter had been shot multiple times.
A search for crimes that have happened within a one mile radius of the home where Baxter was shot and killed, revealed there have been several reports of robberies and burglaries in the past six months.
