Man responsible for shooting sentenced to 4 years
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – A man responsible for a shooting on the Indiana State University campus will be heading to prison.
On Monday, a judge sentenced Calvin McCauley to 4 years in prison.
Last month, he pleaded guilty to battery by means of a deadly weapon.
The shooting happened on September 27 near the Lincoln Quad at ISU.
ISU Police say the shooting resulted in a game of “rolling dice”.
The shooting injured Tevin Moore. Moore was a student at ISU during the time of the incident.
