Police: Franklin auto shop burglarized, vehicle taken

FRANKLIN, Ind. (WISH) – Police in Franklin are investigating after a local auto shop was burglarized last week.

Police say sometime between 5 p.m. on Dec. 30 and 8:35 a.m. Dec. 21, Hagan Auto Sales – located at 489 Nineveh Road – was burglarized and had a vehicle taken. A perimeter fence lock was destroyed and a window was broken out.

Police say the following items are missing from the business:

  • 1991 Jeep CJ7 Wrangler (blacked out, black rims, black paint, and black top)
  • A mig welder and welding tank
  • Miscellaneous tools (sockets, wrenches, etc.)
  • Multiple keys to used cars
