Woman dies in single-vehicle crash on near-northwest side

UPDATE: The woman who died June 8 in a crash on Montcalm Street has been identified as 38-year-old Janay Daniels, according to the Marion County Coroner’s Office. Daniels died from multiple injuries.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — On Wednesday night, a woman died in a single-vehicle crash on the 2000 block of Montcalm Street, according to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

The woman was the singular occupant of the vehicle, which crashed into a pole along the street on the near-northwest side.

The woman’s identity has not been publicly shared.
