15-year-old boy, 34-year-old man die after Elkhart shooting
ELKHART, Ind. (WISH) — A 15-year-old boy and a 34-year-old man died after a shooting Sunday night in Elkhart, police say.
The Elkhart Police Department says the shooting happened just before 11 p.m. Sunday in the 700 block of Concord Avenue. That’s in a residential area off Lusher Avenue near Seventh Street.
Officers found the 15-year-old boy with gunshot wounds. Police say he died after taken to a hospital.
Alexis Jackson also died at the same hospital from gunshot wounds.
Police say Jackson was shot in the same vicinity as the 15-year-old.

Elkhart is in northern Indiana east of South Bend and near the Michigan border.
