US Rep. Carson hosts Youth Opportunities Fair
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — U.S. Rep. André Carson, a Democrat from Indianapolis, hosted his annual Youth Opportunities Fair on Monday at the Ivy Tech Culinary Center.
The event was free to attend and did not require any preregistration.
The annual event provides students and parents with opportunities for year-round jobs, summer jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities for young people. Organizations involved in the fair included the Indianapolis Airport Authority, the STEM Connection, Employ Indy, and Keep Indianapolis Beautiful.
