HANNA MORDOH
Hanna Mordoh anchors WISH-TV’s Daybreak newscasts and creates the Golden Apple Award series and podcast to honor teachers in Indiana. Hanna was born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana, and joined the WISH-TV team in 2020. She is an award-winning journalist and a mom of two young kids, who is thrilled to be back in her home state telling stories that matter to Hoosiers.
Prior to WISH-TV, Hanna worked for NBC Universal in Hartford, Connecticut, and was a staple on NBC Connecticut’s morning show as a traffic reporter, general assignment reporter, and fill-in anchor. Hanna also spent several years reporting at WLEX in Lexington, Kentucky, and at KMIZ in Columbia, Missouri.
Hanna started her journalism career at WTIU in Bloomington, while still in college. Hanna is a graduate of Indiana University’s Ernie Pyle School of Journalism. She also has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and a minor in business from the Kelley School of Business. Her education, prior work experience, and roots in Indiana help her tell well-rounded stories on topics that impact our community.
In her free time, Hanna can be found with her husband, daughter, and son. The family is always on the go discovering new fun places to explore in central Indiana. Hanna also enjoys spending time with friends, trying local restaurants, and relaxing at home with her rescue cat and dog.
