BRITTANY NOBLE
A proud daughter of the Midwest, Brittany Noble was born and raised in St. Louis and is the daughter of two law enforcement officers. She attributes her love of journalism and storytelling to a belief that everyone has a story to tell. Brittany has reported and anchored at KMOV in St. Louis, Missouri, WEYI in Flint, Michigan, WJTV in Jackson, Mississippi and at WBBJ-TV in Jackson, TN. Her career started behind the scenes at KAIT-TV in Jonesboro, Arkansas where she worked as an associate producer and studio technician.
Her expert use of social media gained her national attention while covering the shooting death of Michael Brown in 2014. She interviewed his mother hours after police fatally shot the teen and shared their story online. The ensuing protests helped spur The Black Lives Matter Movement and led to national conversations about policing and racial justice.
An award-winning journalist, she was the 2014 recipient of the National Association of Black Journalists’ Michael J. Feeney Emerging Journalist of the Year Award and was also named Best Radio/TV Reporter in St. Louis by The Riverfront Times.
Brittany earned her undergraduate degree in Mass Communications from Alcorn State University, and master’s degree in Radio & Television from Arkansas State University. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., The National Association of Black Journalists, and The Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.
When not reporting Brittany enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and watching live sporting events especially basketball. Her youngest brother was a star basketball player at Indiana State and now plays professionally overseas.
