‘Gr8 Comeback’: Events venue highlights revamping of downtown Martinsville

MARTINSVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — A major revamp is underway, in downtown Martinsville, thanks to a newfound focus on their local businesses during the pandemic. Michelle Keller runs two of the newest downtown attractions.

It started with her Brickhouse on Main Weddings & Events venue. Keller talks about why people should let her team plan any type of special occasion.

“I feel like we focus on the fine details,” Keller said. “We like to make an event very stress free (and) we have a beautiful venue.”

Keller, who grew up in Martinsville, says Brickhouse on Main is just one of the ways a positive spotlight is being shed on a community trying to grow with a “better name.” Even though the COVID-19 pandemic has created obstacles for her business, she’s confident they can still creatively plan your event outside the box.

“We want people to know we can plan a perfectly planned event, take it to your workplace, your home and just take care of people during this time,” she said.
