‘Gr8 Comeback’: Woman brings antique shop back to downtown Noblesville
NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (WISH) — Jill Janusiewicz is bringing a new name to a familiar business in downtown Noblesville.
The building at 20 N. Ninth St. used to be known as the Noblesville Antique Mall. That was until the owners had to shut the business down. Now, she has reopened the store as Noblesville Antiques on the Square.
“It feels awesome,” Janusiewicz said. “It was a lot of hard work a lot of long hours and I enjoyed every minute of it. There’s something to be said about building a business from the ground up from scratch so I kind of got to make it my own.”
She says the grand opening wouldn’t have been as great without the community’s support. “Not only did we have our employees, (we) also had a lot of people from the community that offered their help and came in and they actually came in and painted or just came in just to say ‘hey,’” she said. “It was really humbling.”
Janusiewicz shares her insight on what customers can get out of her new shop when they come to the Noblesville Antiques on the Square.
“They get a little bit of everything,” she said. “We’ve got a great staff and we have a little bit from everybody from ages 1 all the way up to 100.”
