Indy radio station collecting cards for kids

What a great idea! The crew from ‘107.9 The MIX’ is preparing to host its annual Valentine’s Day Cards for Kids, which is an effort to lift the spirits of thousands of pediatric patients in Central Indiana who are hospitalized and end up missing the traditional classroom parties.

From now through February 7, 107.9 The MIX is collecting homemade Valentine’s Day cards for the kids at Franciscan St. Francis Health – Women & Children’s Center. KJ, on-air personality for 107.9 the MIX, says they’re asking local schools, businesses, organizations, church groups, neighborhoods, friends, and families to come together and create Valentine’s Day cards, as It will be a great opportunity to get creative and make a child’s day.

To help get things moving, participants can download a Valentine’s Day Card Template at www.indysmix.com. Simply color it and drop it off at THE MIX studios located at 9245 North Meridian Street Suite 300, or at one of the participating Noah’s Animal Hospital.

Tune into 107.9 The MIX or visit www.indysmix.com for more details.

Note: Please no edible donations or sealed envelopes. Cards may be signed but please no addresses or phone numbers.
