Kokomo Performing Arts Pavilion hosting free concert series

KOKOMO, Ind. (WISH) — A series of free concerts will be held at the Kokomo Performing Arts Pavilion.

Kokomo Mayor Tyler Moore stopped by Indy Style to talk about the shows.

Moore spoke about how the shows will include social distancing and other precautions.

Schedule:

  • July 25 – Rhumfest featuring Kokomo area favorites from solo artists to bands, including musicians from the Rhum Academy
  • Aug. 15 – WeberFest featuring Nashville’s Finest – An assortment of session players, touring musicians and Broadway Street performers straight from Music City
  • Aug. 22 – The Kokomo Symphony Orchestra: “Pops in the Park”
  • Sept. 19 – Summer Solstice-Fest featuring Free Fallin’ (A Tom Petty Tribute Band)
  • Sept. 26 – Carver Center Summer Celebration featuring Soul Pocket with special guests the Rob Dixon Band and Justaband

Several previously announced shows have been moved to 2021, including Brian Fallon & The Howling Weather with special guest Aaron Lee Tasjan, Cinderella’s Tom Keifer, Monsters of Yacht and My Sinatra with the Kokomo Symphony Orchestra
