Get ready to party in Speedway this weekend!

The Annual Mardi Gras on Main Street comes to town Saturday, and here to get us in the mood with a cocktail is Ron Jones, Bartender at Dawson’s on Main.

Attendees can start at any location and there’s no ticket or entry fee
Eight participating locations are offering special food and drink options including:
• 1911 Grill (1067 Main Street): $10 peel and eat New Orleans shrimp, $6 masquerade pineapple margarita and $5 carnival raspberry lemon drop shot
• Barbecue & Bourbon (1414 Main Street): $4 catfish nuggets, $6 cajun stew, $3 king cake and $5 bourbon blitz
• Big Woods Speedway (1002 Main Street): Crawfish boil, Cajun shrimp tacos, gumbo, red rice and beans, beignets, Hard Truth hurricanes and king cake lemonade
• Dawson’s on Main (1464 Main Street): Bayou shrimp fettuccine, Cajun jambalaya with chicken, blackened red snapper, shrimp and crawfish etouffee and $5 Bourbon Street hurricanes
• Daredevil Brewing Co. (1151 Main Street): $5 Helles lager and Vacation Kolsch all-day
• Foyt Wine Vault (1182 Main Street): $6 sangria and $10 tap wines
• O’Reilly’s Restaurant & Pub (1552 Main Street, Suite A): $10 shrimp, chicken and sausage gumbo and $3 well drinks
• Tacos and Tequila on Main (1502 Main Street): $3.25 cajun fish or shrimp tacos and $5.50 Hurricane margaritas

• Live music by The Party at Foyt Wine Vault
• Juggler and face painter at Big Woods Speedway from 5 – 9 p.m.
