Drew was born in sunny Los Angeles and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He spent four years at Penn State pursuing a degree in meteorology. While at university, Drew spent his off-time hiking around Pennsylvania, fishing in streams, and playing club badminton. During the same time, Drew would often make trips into Indianapolis to visit his sister who was attending Butler University. After graduating from Penn State, he worked in the wilds of Wyoming and West Virginia, developing his love for the outdoors even more and honing his on-air skills. 

Outside of work, Drew is an avid photographer and seasoned drone pilot. He’s also always looking for a good excuse to break a sweat, whether it’s in the gym or out playing sports. One more thing he’s involved in during his off-time is his volunteer work with animal shelter foster services. He’s fostered over 50 dogs in the last 4 years and is a public advocate for adoption from shelters and rescues. He is also a huge football fan, historically rooting for the Chicago Bears, but also excited to start cheering for the Indianapolis Colts. 

Being one of WISH-TVs newest additions, he’s more than eager to adventure around Indiana, and learn all the wonderful ins and outs of the Hoosier state. If you catch him out and about flying the drone or walking a foster dog, Feel free to approach and strike up a conversation with him.
