STEVEN DIANA

Storm Track 8 meteorologist Steven Diana was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN.

Steven joined WISH-TV in March 2020 as the weather digital producer. He graduated from Ball State in December 2019 with a Bachelor’s degree in Meteorology and Climatology. His passion for weather began as early as 2006 when a series of severe weather events took place that year in central Indiana that ranged from big hail to tornadoes.

While attending Ball State, he was associated with the NewsLink Indiana and WCRD 91.3 weather teams from August 2017 until he graduated. He even became the Assistant Chief weather forecaster in WCRD. These organizations along with interning at WISH-TV in the summer of 2018 were instrumental in building his foundation on being a more polished meteorologist.

When he is not geeking out over the weather, there are a slew of interests that keep him busy. He loves sports, running, and playing guitar. He’ll always root for the Indianapolis Colts and Ball State, but he is also is a fan of other colleges in sports such as IU, Florida State, Houston, and Creighton.

Steven also makes sure to keep his family and friends close when he can. His Dad and sister serve as two of his main sources of inspiration in life.
