1 found dead in apartment complex on northeast side

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A person was found fatally shot Monday afternoon in an apartment complex on the city’s northeast side.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was called shortly before 1 p.m. Monday to the 4500 block of Jamestown Court. That’s the Pangea Prairies Apartments just southeast of the intersection of East 46th Street and North Arlington Avenue. 

Police have not released any additional details about the shooting, including whether there is a suspect or a danger to residents in the area.
