All Indy Adventures: Indiana Medical History Museum

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Our tour continues. Last month I began my series called “All Indy Adventures” so that you and I can explore and be tourists in our home together.

The goal is to get my tour together to show others when they visit.

Today’s stop is in the heart of the Haughville neighborhood at the the Indiana Medical History Museum.

The museum houses brain specimens, early medical periodicals, and chemicals used in clinical trials.

Another cool thing you can check out is something I’ll call the “swallow chest.” It has a bunch of items that were taken out of patients’ bodies throughout the years at Riley Hospital for Children.
