American Airlines flights back in air after computer issue

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – The FAA grounded several American Airline flights on Thursday afternoon at several airports.

According to the FAA website, flights were being delayed due to a computer issue. The flights were back in the air around 2 p.m.

Dallas, Chicago’s O’Hare airport and Miami were affected by the technical issue . Indianapolis International Airport was not affected by the computer issue.

American Airlines was responding to customers questions on Twitter.

After the glitch was fixed American Airlines send out this tweet.

It was not immediately clear what caused the computer issues.
