Author dishes on things Hoosiers must do around Indy in book
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Hoosiers will tell you there’s thousands of things to do in Indianapolis that you may have not yet discovered.
Ashley Petry dropped by our studios Saturday to talk about some of those things in a list she compiled.
You can find it in the second edition of her book, 100 Things to Do In Indianapolis Before You Die.
A few highlights include several restaurants and bars in Indianapolis, including Hotel Tango, Traders Point Creamery, and the Indianapolis City Market.
Petry also highlighted several things to do in the city by season. For winter, she recommends exploring Winterlights at Newfields/Indianapolis Museum of Art and Conner Prairie by Candelight.
For young children, she recommends the Rhythm Discovery Center inside the Circle Center Mall.
Pick up her book at Homespun on Mass Avenue, on Amazon.com or in national bookstores including Barnes and Noble.
