Baby Goat Yoga comes to central Indiana
No “kidding,” we exercised with baby goats in our studio today!
It’s all part of a unique new exercise called Baby Goat Yoga. How does it work?
Mike Hoopengardner, Redbud Farm & Caprini Creamery, and Barbara Wilder, Broad Ripple Farmers Market, explain:
In partnership with a local goat farm and the Broad Ripple Farmers Market, we are bringing Baby Goat Yoga to Central Indiana. Our goal is to bring more people to the Broad Ripple Farmers market in support of our local farmers. 76 people came to our first class.
• A donation is made back to the market after each session.
• Every attendee gets a selfie with a baby goat.
• Baby goats jump on backs and LOVE affection. They are quite loud expressive animals so there is very little zen…more light-hearted and fun.
• Next Event is at 9 am June 9 at the Broad Ripple Farmers Market. Event is monthly and usually the Second Saturday of the Month with the exception of July. That will be held on July 7th.
• Can purchase tickets for $15 on Eventbrite-Search Baby Goat Yoga Indianapolis
• BYOM-Bring your own mat & enjoy the market after.
In attempt to attract more people to the Broad Ripple Farmers Market, this is a partnership between the Broad Ripple Farmers Market and their vendor: Redbud Farm & Caprini Creamery and Independent Yoga Instructors. A portion of every session goes right back to the market.
