Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site celebrates President’s Day
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Monday is President’s Day, and to celebrate, the Benjamin Harrison Presidential Site is taking people back to the late 19th century, making for some very special tours.
The president and CEO of the presidential site, Charles Hyde, was on 24-Hour News 8 at noon Monday to talk about it.
The tours explain key elements of President Harrison’s life and feature actors who impersonate members of Harrison’s household. Hyde explained everything that goes into the preparation of the tours, like the costumes and rehearsals.
