Boy donates teddy bears to sheriff’s office in sister’s memory
BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY, Ind. (WISH) – A boy in Bartholomew County donated dozens of teddy bears on Wednesday so that children in crisis can be comforted.
Ten-year-old Jacob Clark donated the 75 teddy bears to Bartholomew County Sheriff Matt Myers. Jacob raised funds for his project “Eva’s Hands” in honor of his baby sister, Eva, who died at birth.
Deputies will carry the teddy bears in their patrol vehicles and give them to children in traumatic situations.
Jacob’s mom, dad and brothers helped him with the project.
