Tuesday’s business headlines
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Here’s a look at Tuesday’s business headlines.
Small business
Indiana’s small businesses should be able to weather the coronavirus storm more than many other states.
Wallethub ranks the state 33rd.
Indiana ranked especially high in business environment and workforce support.
Work from home
Thirty-five percent of workers who are working from home said their mental health had deteriorated as a result of doing so amid the coronavirus lockdown, according to a survey conducted by researchers at Keio University in Tokyo.
Fifty percent said it had no impact on their mental health, and 14 percent said their mental health had improved. The stressors were mixing family and work and not getting exercise.
Hospital iPads
Hospitals have been requesting donations of iPads and tablets in to keep coronavirus patients in touch with their loved ones.
Before donation, the device should be cleaned, reset and, if possible, placed in a zip lock bag with a viable power cord, according to the hospitals.
COVID-19 test maps
those with access to apple maps will soon be able to use the app to find covid-19 testing sites.
9 to 5 Mac reports the tech giant is allowing healthcare providers, hospitals and other businesses to submit an application for their specific testing locations. Once a location is approved, it’ll appear right on Apple Maps.
