C. Indiana weather clearing out and turning cooler

The much needed rain that fell over central Indiana dropped over an inch of rain in spots. Area wide we received 1/4″- 1.4″. The heaviest rain fell in our northern zones near Lafayette and Kokomo. The front is now to our east and skies are clearing behind it. We are getting in on a mix of clouds and sun for the remainder of the afternoon. Winds have shifted to the northwest ushering in drier and much cooler air for tonight. Expect lows to dip into the 40s and 50s. We’ll stay cool for the end of the weekend. Sunday will feature a much brighter sky with highs in the 70s.
